Looks good. I built an M1941 replica sniper, too. 1932 receiver with an SA 1932 star gaged barrel and a Pre-war C stock. Just used extra parts that i had lying around. Am using a late 1930s Lyman 8X Targetspot scope, though. VSRM allows it. Still working out setting for it.

This one has a Lyman Super Targetspot in 10x on the way for it. Not CMP
legal, but I like the look of them. I am looking for another pre war C stock for another bubba’d 1903 barreled action project....when that one is complete I’ll probably get one of the new repro 8x scopes for it, to be legal.

So when can we see this fake sniper up for sale? I bet soon.

Why is this always the mentality that ensues when one attempts to build a replica rifle?

It's reality. Just adds to the confusion. Very profitable for you collectors.

lol. Okay. Well I’ll enjoy my replica since I cannot afford a real one. Hopefully you don’t lose too much sleep over it.

It's honestly really hard to fake a USMC 1903A1 Unertl and get it pass the smell test. We have learned so much about them in the past several years, it's made it really hard to pass a fake as real. So I don't think he is doing anything wrong.
If anyone encounters one and is curious, I am always more than willing to help someone if you want to PM me. But the safest assumption on these rifles is it's probably a fake. Definitely don't pay a premium without talking to someone. Or you will likely get burned. Even many in the books are fake.

I had one made up and I enjoy shooting it. I picked up a 1903 in a C stock (pretty sure repo) for $700. Had Chuck in Denver up on Steve Earl scope mounts and got a repo Malcolm 8x scope. Shoots great and have less then $1500 in it.

The pre war C stock also had the drawing number D-1836 and later on D-1836-4 behind the pistol grip near the swivel
