I just purchased a nice Smith Corona 03-a3 with serial number in 3,600,000 range and noted that there is no indication that the bolt is a SMC type. I am probably wrong,. but I thought to look for an X on the bolt, but this bolt has only two C's on the underside of the handle, and a 3 on the top of the handle, and then also an arrowhead type marking on the back of the bolt handle. Is anyone able to tell me what these markings and stamps mean? thanks, duggaboy
