11 Carbines $25.000.00

Seen this today, 11 M1 Carbines for $25,000.00 plus $300.00 plus your FFL fees.
So an average of $2,300.00 each. Real 'Lean Description' and sold As Is-No Returns.
Very little in the description to go by and few pictures. Among other things, Seller does state:
"They all have original period slings and original 10-round marked magazines."
This picture will prove that wrong if you look closely at the D tips and 15rders.
The part that gets me going is how he lets you know what great effort and time that will be spent on his part to answer your questions...... Noted here: "if you have a question that entails my looking at the carbine to answer it, I’ll have to drive to storage, retrieve the weapon, bring it to my house, find your answer, and then take the carbine back to storage. This process can easily kill two hours of my time."

I think back with a few of my best Carbines being purchased sight unseen, their descriptions given to me via E-mail (Thx Again Nigerian Bobbie ! ) times sure have changed. I guess my point being I'm ready to buy but don't feel I should have to feel like I've shown up at the door un-invited with questions and picture requests in hand. Sure don't want to Intrude !

Seems a bit pricey.
Hard to tell from the picture on some. But they look to all be low wood with adj rear sights. Some of the barrel dates don't seem to align with the serial number.
Period corredt, but which period?
For the cost a person should be happy to answer any and all questions.
Buy the gun, not the story.

I was just about to say that. It looks like the woodwork hasn't been looked after, following long spells in the heat and the wood looks dried out. Could be the photos of course.
Bit pricy at $25K I would have thought, but best in your hands and barrel checks befoe you part with that amount of dosh!!

Over $2000 per carbine and each of them has an adjustable rear sight, A type 3 barrel band and all but one has a type 5 pot belly stock. Hummm can we say REBUILTS???????? NOT at over $2000 each. But you know the sad thing is that there is someone out there who sees this and thinks it's a good deal. Too many dollars and not enough sense.

So those with the mag's in are compliant or non-compliant as I am not familiar with your local or state reg's.
Our bolts have to be out of the weapons and locked up separately to the rifles the ammunition locked up separately from those 2 items with our primers & gunpowder separately locked up from each other and separate from everything else oh! and no more than 5 kilo's of gunpowder. So one has safes all over the house.

Cinders, in Florida, unless you are a convicted felon and have lost your rights to own an firearm, a M1 carbine w/ loaded 15rd magazine is completely legal on your property. No issues. Period.
