Old No4 T sales adverts
Would be interested to hear from anyone who may have any old shooting magazine adverts for the No4 T after it’s disposal from the army. I’m looking for vintage ads from the sixties and seventies.

I'd love to see this kind of thing as well. I remember a "Wish I was there back then..." Thread a while ago about No4 T's, No4's and L42 sniper rifles for sale back in the day.

I can remember looking through the guns review when I was a lad, in 1974 no4s were £6 and a 4T complete with chest was £43. I was 14 and used to be at my grandfather to get me one, wheres that time machine when you want one.

Old No.4 T sales adverts.
Dug around a bit and found a Canadian
Crown Surplus Stores Ltd. catalog from the 60's and on page 46 you could buy Lee Enfield T rifles (Snipers) c/w matching number telescope. Brand new , c/w fitted case, leather sling, 303 cal. for the sum of $89.95. But then on page 14 you could also buy a French
Hotchkiss 25mm rubber tire mounted cannon c/w towing ring & iron sights, in good working order, as pictured for $250.00. Those were the days.
