    I had a beauty here for some time, until I finally moved it along... Mine was a bit later as it was parkerized and was correct to be that way. I always wanted an early one that was back end blue and bright blade. They aren't much available around these parts. Bought this one from a local school teacher for a pittance and he was happy as he doubled his money...

    Early grips had eleven cutter grooves per inch which was changed in 1917 to seven cutter grooves per inch which BAR's bayonet shows in the photos

    late grips from the 20's and 30's have drawing numbers inside the grips
