    There may or may not be a marking inside the bottom back of the spine. The bottom retainer lips are bent out at the front, they should be uniform. That mag has seen lots of use. I wonder if it's an early original, not marked at all? They didn't mark them at the beginning as they were the only ones making mags for their own gun...Colt...

    Due to no markings and condition what would be the best way to come up with a value?

    The photos don't show the hole on the back of the mag but if it it not round but slightly oval, it is a repro Japaneseicon made mag I believe for the repro Thompson they made, Ray

    The oval hole is for the 1927 semi auto Auto Ord or Numrich guns, they fire from a closed bolt and differ completely inside from GI. They were standard mags hogged up so you had to use those, you couldn't just grab mags and take them to a gunfight and win. The drum still fit but there aren't many of those except those of us serious enough to have examples.

    Honestly? I'd only go about $20 USD on that one. It's a well worn mag...
