Hi, my Lithgow is a MA 1945 receiver SN: F 37427 with a 3/52 "H" barrel with MA over VI and four stars stamped on it . It has the crown over LP in flags on both the barrel and the receiver. It came with two bolts, one has v11755 on it and the other bolt has no number and appears to have never had one, there is no sign of it having been ground off. The butt is dated 1945 and there are no markings on the lower fore wood and there is no cutout for the rear sight protector, the upper front fore wood only goes from the barrel band to the nose piece. The rear upper wood was one piece went from the receiver to the barrel band and is held on by the standard spring clip and the barrel band. It had no cutout for a sight but is broken beyond repair, I plan to make a new one at some stage. The rifle has a Lane peep sight fitted to it.

Hi there muffett. Not sure if you're still collecting this data but here's a couple more.
1945 Lithgow (still like new, best rifle in my collection)
Serial F39419 (serial number puts it near end of war production rifles)
Barrel date 4/45
Forend is SLAZ 45 marked however they fitted a SLAZ 42 marked standard length butt.
Lithgow 1944
Serial E94678
FTR 1950
Barrel is 1942 British made but also has Lithgow markings.
Forend is numbered to rifle and marked SLAZ 50.
