1912 Squad Cleaning Kit
I mentioned this in the thread on the adoption of the 1911 and had a request to see it.
It's gone now but here are the pictures.
I think you fellas realize I'm a reseller but I am indeed a collector too! I can't afford to hang on to these high dollar items for my own collection but it is a pleasure to be able to hold and see these items where the history is just oozing off!

So scarce to see a whole one. I expect most were pilfered or scrapped outright, few have existed that haven't been assembled. Example, I have one of those rods here somewhere...seen a couple oil cans. Nice...

There’s an oil can for sale through an online auction right now. They have it listed simply as “oil can.” Even someone with good intentions could accidentally break one of these up.
Especially those little screwdrivers. I’m not sure I would have known what they were before this.
