I have seen piles of Chinese Kar98kicon's. They are not rare at all. But have seen only one Gew98. Well made, but obviously old and beat to death. They were likely made right around WWI and served long and well. Most of the bolt guns ended up in the Militia and were not properly cleaned or maintained.
