Magazines, magazines, magazines!
Over the years, the British
army dump permission of mine has produced some great WW2 relics. It also gives up some relatively common items, but everything is worth saving if it is from WW2, (in my opinion!). Magazines, magazines, magazines! From lots of different weapons.

WWI Troops who used them said they worked better with 15 rounds in them but they created issues as they caught in the wire and everything else attracted mud like flies to cow dung and were not liked one iota.
My friend had one but on sold it before I could get a hold of it a real rare beast which should bring good $'s if one ever comes up for sale.

I seem to recall something like that Clarky but the pic shows how much the dang thing hung down and say with a bayonet on the front & a full 20 rounds the MkIII would have felt like a wheel barrow full of bricks......
