That's the battle where US Marines faced the worst weather since Valley Forge and were outnumbered more than any time since The Alamo. What an astonishing feat of arms! That's also the battle in which Hector Cafferata took out over 200 Chinese attackers with an M1 and was awarded the MOH.

I remember that story. IIRC that M1 he’s holding is the one he was issued??? It was located, restored and presented to him???
