L39A1 CASE EJECTION

My issue is poor ejection throw once extraction is completed, I have a CR141A magazine and the extractor appears intact with a strong spring. Looking at the picture, the ejector screw looks too short and doesn't protrude as it's the forward mounting screw for the ph5c sight.
