    Mate, given his M14icon rifle, the helicopters are UH1B or C models with un-subdued markings, that picture is very early on, possibly while the Yanks were still serving in an advisory capacity, and definitely before 1967. The Yanks were using H model Iroquois for troop carriers and the C models were relegated to a gunship role when I lobbed up in the middle of TET 1968. Everything they had flying was up-gunned and subdued by then.
