    Why don't you try a NZicon made JNT aperture sight? They don't require modifications to receiver and once set at your desired range you forget about them. They were used in NZ for deer culling. Not as refined as the PH5A or Central sights but it won't break the bank either. PM me if you want more details on it as I have one spare (not the example pictured though).
