					Recommend a 9mm Pistol

I would like a recommendation for a 9mm pistol just for informal target shooting. I had been using my Radom but can no longer find a magazine for it. I am a very senior citizen and would like a gun that is just fun to shoot. I reload and use 125 grain lead bullets in the load. I have read about the Taurus 24/7 and thought this might be a possibility, but have never shot one. I would be grateful for all suggestions. TIA

Stoeger Cougar - same as a Beretta Cougar in 9MM
Stoeger Cougar Double-Action, Auto-Loading Pistolx
Nice firearm and reliable - can get for around $375 new at gun shops. My wife has one and loves it - I like it too.

I suggest a Glock. I have several - feeds any type of ammo, utterly
reliable, reasonable price and easy to shoot (good ergonomics, at least to me). I have a Glock 17 (full size 9MM) that I have put thousands of
rounds through without so much as a burp.

I would go for the CZ

I have never been unhappy with any CZ I ever bought.

I have a Ruger P89, stainless. I bought it used, good price, shoots great.

					Browning HiPower

Bought it 30 years ago, who knows how many rounds? They feel good in your hand and really make the tin cans dance.

I couldn't agree more. The Hi-Power is the best of the 9mm pistols.

Triple K still offers an aftermarket Radom mag. May take some fiddling to get them to function right, but it's a lot less costly than a new pistol. Especially since you know and enjoy the one you already have.

The high power is a great pistol to shoot, although the GLOCK 9mm is very easy to strip, clean and maintain and the model 17 is a great shooter.
