Fake or Real ??
I have been searching for muzzle cover with a 1943 date. I found this on Epay, but looks fake to me...the strap has a large weave, and I am not sure Boyt made these. Opinions are very welcome...and if you have one for sale...I will take it. Thank you. . http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=350196046041

Marked Boyt 1943. Seller doesn't claim it to be real. Made in China fake.

I emailed him, asked if he knew it to be real or fake. He answered that he was told it was original.

"he was told it was original". Gee, I want it now. NO. No. No. Pass on this fake. I was Phoenix Gun how last December. A dealer had piles of mint WWII USGI canvas slings for sale. MINT! All had a very small paper tag on them "Made in China". ALL, got it? I decide to buy one and came back the next morning. ALL GONE. They said some dealer walked up and bought everyone of them. On I see piles of "original" USGI WWII slings on Ebay. Let the buyer beware.

I am currently working on a page of Muzzle Covers. The page is not finished yet, as I have to post an image of the cover on a carbine/rifle.
If anybody has pictures of any that are not on this page, I would appreciate it if you could forward me a faily large sized image. With your permission I will list you on the page as a contributor.
