Looking for info on my new purchase Type 99 Last ditch rifle

Hey guys picked this up Saturday. Not an expert on these, could someone give me an idea of what the markings represent, or point me toward a source?
I'd like to get a bayonet, any recommendations for sources?

What do you think retail value is on this for insurance purposes? I think I paid under retail, but need to add it to my policy.

Something not often talked about around here but I like the way you think. I have a comprehensive policy already but have made a few additions lately...might be time to look at an increase.
    Thanks for the reminder!!

It is a Jinsen series 40 about 3/4 of the way through their production run . The matching bolt helps , but the ground mum hurts . Looks like a honest rifle complete with closet paint . I would say about $ 350.00 tops .

Many things are not original with your rifle.

The stock is from a later Nagoya rifle. The front band appears to have been off the barrel at some point. The bolt is not matching to your rifle, Jinsen bolts are numbered vertically with the handle, not horizontally.
Value would be the sum of the parts. The stock is $75-100 and the bolt, if entirely matching is another $75-100.

Just enjoy it as a shooter. May want to have head-space checked before shooting.

The “sum of the parts” would be on the order of $400, really.
You’d be surprised how often this is true for old firearms.
When a sling swivel sells for $25, the parts really add up!

Thanks, I feel a little better. So much for impulse buys.
