just purchased a Enfield 1916 and it has a soviet union moon proof mark...
just curious as to if anyone on here has seen a proof mark of the soviet union cresent moon on an enfield and what it means or would be? i will try and add a pic in a little bit.

As I recall, the Brits gave a bunch of No. 1 Mk III Lee-Enfields to the Czar in 1918. Not seeing any crescent moon proof marks though.

Did the picture post where you could see it? I’m the pic it looks more like a circle with like a hammer but in person it’s looks like the crescent moon with the hammer in the middle. I can’t see the picture in the thread..
