Very nice. I find the Model 300 to be more attractive. To me the smaller dimensions permitted by using 7.65mm improves the proportions. My 600 looks ungainly, my 300 looks more balanced.

Years ago I had a friend who was an editor for gun publications, he had a cut-away Astra 600 that came from Spain

I have a couple of the Astras, a 600/43 and a 1921 (400). Fun and interesting, but the triggers are pretty wretched , especially the 600's.

This is an interesting thread. Are there any known German
units that were issued the 600/43's or detailed information about their use? Way back when I had a Guardia Civil which is a copy of the Astra 400. Sold it off in a moment of weakness--dang! Salt Flat

I have a 400 which will not fire largo so I believe a sleeve was inserted for 9mm. That works fine. 400's were not made in 9mm to my knowledge.
