$545 for a carbine I could shoot the snot out of sounds like a fine deal.
About the only thing I use mine for is picking off half-busted clay pigeons after a day of shooting with guys. Carbines are plenty accurate for that

On the west coast you just don't see many for sale at any price. $1000 is a starting point on any good carbine.

The Type II rear sights were made that way. It's not real pretty, but should work just fine. - Bob
