Looks like every other sporterized 1903 I run across at pawn shops.
Does the serial actually show up in the SRS as a NRA sporter? Even if it does it’s been heavily sporterized from there. I wouldn’t pay more than $250 for it in the wild.
...and with no other information/documentation even that would be a stretch.

I typed in the auction number on GB and nothing came up.

Gun”auction” not gun”broker.”

I didn't see a serial number listed. I can run it by SRS if you saw one (and it was too early in the morning for me!!)

I have one that is very similar. Without seeing the serial number we can't be sure, but it looks like a "sporterized" NRA Sporter.

The serial number is 1262021. Barrel date is SA over 12-23. Star gauge stamp is at 6 o'clock on muzzle. Stamp (star gauge?) on underside of barrel is P over 487. It would be nice if I had a front sight for it but all I have are A3 front sights.
While it is sad that this rifle has been so much modified, I am delighted with it as a piece of history. If it had been in original condition, it would doubtless have been out of my price range. Per Brophy. 81 of these rifles were made in 1923 with a price of $50.84. That must have been a lot of money then.
(Plus, I always wanted to fool with an improved .30/06 like the Gibbs cartridge.)

I would appreciate an SRS check. Again, the serial number is 1262021. And the "P" over the 487 could be a "B"; it's kind of light.
