    Not entirely new here . . .

Posted a few times on the old forum (maybe a different screen name, though).

    I'm more of an accumulator than a collector. Without revealing too much, I have a C&R license and about a dozen old arms. Garand, M1icon Carbine, a couple of Enfields, K31icon, 03a3, 1917, a few Mausers. I'm a sucker for 6.5x55 . . .

Hello all, new to collecting. Have a Springfield 03a3 that I got from my father, a Turk Mauser, M38 Mosin-Nagant, Spanish 1916 Mauser and a K-31. Also a Springfield 1903 that my dad started to sporterize many moons ago and I'm in the process of finishing. These along with the requisite rifles, shotguns, pistols and various ammo to go along with them. I plan on visiting often for tips and info.

    new member & rifle newbie

Hi there everyone.. Well I just got my first rifle in about 30 years. First one was just a 22 rifle as a teenager. But sold that. Now that I'm into military collecting (vehicle, uniform, etc), through a friend I "bought" a Savage No.4 Mk1, full wood and looks well used and original. Definately needs a real good cleaning before firing. And this weekend I'm taking my PAL (Cdn Possesion and Acquistion License) so I can legally own this rifle, ammo and maybe collect other ones.. Wifey is real upset over my new item, am not sure she'll get over it. Too bad though...

where can I get a manual for this Savage rifle? Or will a Lee Enfield manual do just the same thing? thanks.........grant
