Roughly about later November 1943 for your serial number.

Here's SG 3,473,548 with odd slingwell markings.
A boxed S'G' with a large Crossed Cannons stamped either under or on top of the stock makers mark- J.
J would be a Jewel Bros replacement stock. No M2 cut. Jewel Bros had a contract for replacement stocks , Production dates were Aug 44-April 45.
All this for only $1200..... !
Thoughts.........

I know the Crossed Cannon stamp is hard to see.
But when I look at it magnified @ 300% it looks to be the same stamp as pictured below.
This is one of the Early Repro Inland stamps.
Attachment 96431
Same Repro Inland stamp, maybe better view:

Yep, that is a rare find. Definitely the Jewel stock marking. I think someone just wanted to try out the SG and CC stamps that they bought on ebay. Maybe they thought that the CC was going to cover up the J.

Hi Wayne,
Looks as though he has a few more Stamps tucked away.
Here a QHMC being offered on the same site (But calling it a Rock Ola):

I think I see a Grand Rapids TH and trigger on that one. The description describes it as a "fine piece of working history" and "chambered for .30 Carbine ammunition." That's a plus! - Bob

OK..
Last one today I promise.
Don't you hate it when you forget to use your Fake UEF over GHD stamp and CC BEFORE you varnish your stock !
Yes, Same seller.

With the OI above the RMC, I think that was when Overton was making stocks for Rock-Ola who sent them to QHMC. This guy needs to contact SamT to get some lessons on stock stamping.
