Pedersen Device - MAGAZINE ONLY - Value?
Hello all.
Thought I'd ask for a bit of advice on an auction BEFORE making a purchase for once
I have my eye on an auction in a week or so that has a Pedersen Device magazine. Just the magazine. Considering the device itself is so incredibly rare, I don't know where to begin pricing an accessory.
Anyone have any thoughts on this?
Thanks!!

Not worth a penny here in NJ... over 10 round capacity semi-auto magazines are banned, no grandfathering....

Well it does enable you to semi-automatically shoot an anemic and rare round through an even rarer 100 year old firearm. Super dangerous. I can see why it'd be outlawed

I'd be making them from something if I had one, but the device is so expensive who would want to shoot them? Too bad no one made repros.

I gather the round was used as the basis for that French
round and apparently that’s a little easier to track down.
I have to imagine there’s at least a handful of guys out there really hurting for a magazine.
Like I said, how do you price a magazine that is used with a $50,000 “firearm?”

Agreed, someone here will have an idea. Unless you put it on Gunbroker or some such and let it find it's own price?

I heard that some repro Pedersen devices had been manufactured years ago along with some repro magazines. My question, could a bullet fired from a Pedersen device penetrate a German
helmet at close range ?
Also were all Pedersen magazines inter-changeable with the Model 1903, Model 1917 and Remington Mosin Nagant rifles ?

Well that would be a bummer if it was a repro.
Unfortunately I had my dates mixed up and the auction ended last night...fortunately my absentee bid held off the competition.
I'll post some pics once it gets here. This is all I have for now:

As you can see, they didn't know what it was. It was just tossed in a lot with a bunch of other mags and accessories.

Here is the Pedersen 1903 for sale in Ontario Canada
. I have nothing to do with the vendor , but they do get some nice eye candy frequently. Just passing it along in the event someone can use the lead.
