Thank you for posting this, I have never seen it slowed down in such a manner. What a beautifully designed machine. Shooting my own garand,I never realized it bounced off of the rear sight base at all or the Op rod Handle. You would think it would leave a mark of some kind after shooting hundreds of rounds but mine has no such marks. Truly a genius piece of engineering
I saw someone else's years ago, but not this frame rate. I also recorded my own about 30FPS.
My garands seem to send the brass about 1-2 o'clock position. I do notice the brass usually has a dent in the throat. I think that is what is hitting the op rod to cause it to go forward.
