bit more to it then that,, if you plan on actually shooting and being able to hit a target with the rifle. you will have to shim the front, as well as trim the left side sight ear down so that the rifle will bore sight, keep this in mind, if you solder the rear base in place, you may not be able to remove the scope. I just did one of these a couple weeks ago, quality with Accumonts is hit and miss. I used 8-40 screws.
