I agree Gil, but sometimes there are Bargains to be had, The colt 1911 I was looking at wasn't the best condition and I thought this may of put buyers off........ there was a bit of corrosion, pitting etc to deal with. There where other items which never sold and have enquired about one of them.
My No4T was probably the best deal ever regarding an auction, it never reached the sellers reserve and my postal bid of £450 was the highest, although it looked like the barrel was a sewer pipe it was just dust and crud so I guess it put most folk off....... the auctioneers contacted the seller regarding my bid and accepted ......... with fees on top it was one cheap No4T.Information
