If anyone needs an Aldis sniper scope.........
I've been perusing 'that internet auction site' & there's quite a tidy third pattern Aldis sniper scope on there (.co.uk) at present. Thought it might be of interest to anyone looking to build up a SMLE sniper. It's not cheap but looks a nice example. (No, it's not mine!).

If someone missed it and is looking for something else instead, a No. 32 Mk.3 scope is now listed on eBay.co.uk, see auction ID 192801307558.

I know that Mk.3 because it came with the first rifle I ever owned: N3223-, mismatched, but shot like a hot damn as they say. Can't remember what we traded for it Roger, but it was before 2003 IIRC.

Are you sure Rob? I plucked it from among the Indian batch. However, me being as scatterbrained as I am it's entirely possible I got it mixed up with them......my memory has never been good & it certainly ain't improving with age! As I recall it was largely complete save for most of the lenses & one or two minor internals. You might be interested to know it has gone to a good home 'back' in Canada
, although not quite so far West as you!
Am now just about to start on another 'old' one of yours, a Kodak, for a distinguished fellow forummer.
