    I had an old friend who died in the late 1990's, he had been in the US Air Force for 19 years. He joined right after WW2 and was a pilot in the P-61 night fighter,
    his unit was up-graded to the F-82 twin Mustang and based in Japanicon before the Korean War started in 1950. When the Korean War started his unit was ordered to
    provide ground support by straffing enemy troops with the F-82's. He was shot down by small arms fire and crash landed in a safe area. He had photos of his F-82
    after it was shot down and I remember his F-82 was all black in color
