    LEST WE FORGET....................just been to a service at USAF Glatton near Peterborough very busy B17 base in WW2. 60 people in attendance and lots of USAF pilots from Mildenhall and Lakenheath.

    The runway is still used today as a flying school, landing lights and all.
    Have a look at this link, the annual service was held three weeks ago where pilots from USAF Lakenheath and Mildenhall came over to pay their respects:
