I’m really just waiting for eBay to pull my listing and suspend me haha.

Ever play army men when you were a kid ?
That thing would have put my toy Tommy gun to shame.
We would have made you use that at the Fort as a Artillery piece.
My little town here is full of multi booth antique shops......
I'm more surprised that you wrestled it out without breaking something than the fact you found one.
Good Luck..

Neat to see it double size!
Yup, to be able to add selective-fire to a fully designed and in-production rifle with just a few simple add-on pieces is truly amazing! "Stuff" is so complicated today, that could never happen now...

Just thought I'd follow up on this for future searches.
This has sold for $1,750 plus $100 (woefully underestimated) shipping.

Well hopefully I’ve given you an idea of value here. Maybe that’ll help your cause!
For what it’s worth, I paid $800 for it at the antique mall.

The Carbine 2X is light, wood and aluminum. The BAR 2X is not. Milled and weighs 74 pounds. It's a beast. Never had the Garand
