Mk 1 & MK 111 compass parts
Hi
I am after some help, I have a broken needle from a T&G Mk 1 compass.
If I cannot find a spare I will have to make one up, can you tell me what material was used,it may be copper or aluminium or another material.
Also I have broken the card on my Mk 111 compass ,not my lucky day to find both broken items would the Buy and Sell section be the best place.
Thanks
Michael

Only ferrous metals are attracted to or by magnets/magnetism. Compass parts are likely steel vs iron.
I'd be thinking one or the other of browningautorifle's links. Highly unlikely you'll find compass parts anywhere else.
