What grade would this be?
Haven't been on the forum for awhile but I traded into this m1 about a year ago and curiosity has got the better of me as to whether it's all correct and how the CMP
would likely grade it if it is. It's 5.6m hra with a 5-'55 dated hra barrel. Bolt, trigger housing, hammer, safety, rear sight elevation knob, gas cylinder lock screw all hra marked. Windage knob marked drc only but I think that is correct for an h&r. Stock appears to be hra with 1/2" das cartouche. Front sight is right according to the ear width. Only part I'm uncertain about is the gas cylinder. What do the experts say?

"Grade" is a uniquely CMP
thing that really only applies to the stuff they sell. They also use assorted gauges to judge the barrel. Without those numbers it's not really possible to say what they'd think.

I understand that sunray.
This is a CMP

Well that’s even easier. How long ago did it come from the CMP
? If somewhat recently, they should be able to pull the paperwork. It costs, I think, $25.

You can call the Anniston Alabama number hit extension 138 and Sandy can take the serial number and send you a letter verifying if it was sold through CMP
or DCM , if it's a recent purchase they should be able to tell you the grade as well, the price is $25 and you have proof in a letter if it was sold through them, well worth the price, I just had 5 rifles checked myself.

Outside parts appear "correct" but need to inspect unmarked internals to see if they are HRA
