Mine are not the best, but they are not too bad. I can think of lots of Enfields I'd rather have but instead of constantly striving for more, sometimes it's good to be satisfied with what one has...

I've printed it off to file in my 'interesting articles' folder! Only looked at snippets so far but it looks well worth a proper read. Mind you the author is a very knowledgeable chap so I'd expect no less.

Terry Abrams and I were at the test shoot as on site armourers and range safety officers. The two shooters were very sore and there was a five gallon bucket full of empty brass when they finished up. They only broke one extractor spring during the test which was quickly replsced. a very interesting day.

I have an interesting Martins Galilean sight that had the owners/users regimental number written on the baize lining of the sight box
A record search showed he was a sharpshooter with the Sherwood Foresters

Some Neill optical sights
Here are some photos of a Neill sight I picked up many years ago. Fascinating article, and sheds some good insight (no pun intended) into these sights.

Had this for a while. Always thought it probably wasn't a factory made job, but comments welcome.
