Does the Flip sight have the straight Chisel type stake marks ?

Anyone know when QHMC stopped using the Big CC stamp?
I often call it the Big Wheel Cartouche.

Should have asked when Ordnance stopped using the large CC on early QHMC's ?
Why did they change to the smaller one?
Too much like Inland's size ?

According to CCNL 334 QHMC used the big wheel cartouche to serial number 1625251, that stock was used to aprox 1896528 and has the smaller cartouche so it may not be original to that rifle?

When I saw the smaller cartouche I thought it was too early also, although there could be an unknown explanation out there for it. Also, for some reason that dogleg just stands out too much versus the rest of the housing. I've had a couple of QHMC doglegs and the font looks somewhat different; however, that could be explained by lighting or camera angle.

Oops, I forgot to mention that the earliest Rock-ola stocks QHMC used had the taller letters stamped in the slingwell that are very seldom seen. They look nothing like what we're used to seeing from them.

The hammer is in the white with a brownish grease on it. The housing almost looks blued.

The stamped number matched the carbine.
But the stock is a RMC with Bomb I cut with the Large CC used early by QHMC





Neither of these stocks are available to me to measure the RMC letters.

GIUS,
That QHMC Big CC stock had been stamped more than twice. The Over stamped SN's = 2 and another up/left of those.. a 2 mil number.
Years back we had a new member asking questions and having a few problems with his carbine. He didn't live far from here so he came over. It was a Inland CAI mixer.
While I went thru it I grabbed a couple pictures of his stock.
