Nick, your rifle could be a genuine & very scarce Faz 4T but it could equally have been assembled from original parts (or possibly repro parts in the case of the body pads). Could you send us some photo's of the receiver side wall showing the body pads (mount bases) with the scope & bracket removed? Also any markings on the receiver side wall & on the bracket & so forth? That will help us to give you some more precise info on your rifle.
Incidentally, it looks to me like the rear thumb screw on your scope bracket may well be of Canadianmanufacture......just an aside. I think the bracket itself is probably Scottish!
