Does it look like my loader that came from Bulgaria via eBay and is pictured in Post 20?

Yes it is the same as pictured in post number 20 ., I will have to look at my transit chest to see if it has the cut outs to secure it in the bottom .

I found that the only way that it would fit in the transit chest is the way round that I have it in picture 1, post 20.

It looks like it fits very well. Did you mill out the wood on the rear of the chest or was it that way when you got the chest ?

No I didn't make any changes to the chest but I did fiddle about with it for ages until I found a way in which it would fit into the chest. It only fits the one way and you have to lift the partition out to drop it in and then lower the partition down on top of it.

Can you post a picture of the entire contents of the chest so I can see how all the other items fit ? Thanks .

My Bren Gun magazine loader came in today's mail from Bulgaria . It's in excellent condition. I tried it out with some of my .303 mags. and it works perfectly !!! The mags lock in the loader correctly without forcing it in . Drop in a hand full of .303 ammo pull on the lever to load the mag. in less than 8 seconds. The rims of each round are correctly positioned to fed from the magazine . The number stamped on the loader is No 13183 . I love it .

Let them go digging then rather than resurrecting it.
