TJ214, speak to us, please. Has removing the small machine screw allowed the grip to fit?
The "attachment" has probably been produced in a place that doesn't have the same "manufacturing standards" as the UK
or US, so some difficulty in fitting may be experienced and, therefore, adjustment may be required.
Once fitted, the grip is probably perfectly ok when fitted to a deactivated Bren but obviously not an original military item.

Flying 10........ It is a fake, a dummy, a replica of nothing that ever existed as it stands. It'd be like taking your own car into action, it's useless regardless POF
hopw well it fits. Like a snow-plough on a mini! It fits but......

I see...then how about this.. You've come looking for someone to tell you how to fit something that was never fitted. You find no on wants to play. Wonder why? If you hand me this item, I can fit the transverse front mounting pin to it in about five minutes like anyone with hands and eyes and a chainsaw file could. Then you have something that you can do whatever it is you think needs to be done. You get two others asking why you'd add something...like mounting a scope on a #4 rifle and saying that even though this is spurious, they DID make #4 rifles with optics and this is just like it. Peter is quite right about us, the infantry being able to smash that grip off in about five minutes of action, exiting the very first armored carrier should do it. Then we have a bolt there. Yours would damage the front mounting pin. You'll find this one too far forward to be comfortable. I've shot lots of Bren and grasping the folded bipod works great. I'd rather lay prone and use the extended bipod and employ the gun's natural accuracy though.
Please don't feel special because of the treatment you receive. You just keep asking the same question and it gets tiring. As for professionalism...this isn't my job. I'm Infantry...regular army retired.
Enjoy your new toy. Hope you figure it out.

Apparently this "weapon innovation" never went into full scale production.
