    The sideways sickle is actually the US "flaming bomb" inspection stamp.

    Your rifle will be 1943.

    Production ended near 1,100,000 in mid- late 1944.

    Rather than adding anothe digit in front of the C letter prefix, they went back to 0c and added a 5th digit after the letter prefix.
