Yup, it doesn't help that a lot of gun owners in this state don't support organizations who fight for their right or even vote. I'm destined for Texas ina few years.

Unfortunately this is what happens when a few densely populated "enclaves" are allowed to dictate policy for the others occupying 90% of the remaining area. Sad, but true. Having moved from NY to TX in my early 20's, I can now see where my great state is about to flip. Too many people fleeing the destruction of their own states, yet bringing with them the same mentality responsible for the destruction. Go figure!

I was planning my move to Texas long before the gun issues here in this immoral state. Actually, I bought a house in McKinney TX in 1990 but work ending up keeping me in CA and I sold it (at a loss) soon after buying it. should have just moved then; although I hear the Plano (CA transplant) folk are taking a toll on the area. I think the folks bringing the less desirable mentality are moving to Texas because they can't afford to live or retire in the state they took part in destroying, sort of like cancer. Exactly what they are doing to Portland, OR.
