    Thank you for your very kind words, H. A great value coming from you.

    I don't know if the third rifle originated as an NRA Sporter, or not. The crown is polished/re-crowned so no evidence of a star. The front of the receiver is slightly rounded like my known NRA Sporters, however, I have no non-sporters to which I could make a comparison. I don't know how else to check, so I would say "I don't know". Experts??
