HRA trigger

Hello all, I was hoping you guys could help me with this trigger I just got in the mail. It was advertised as a used HRA trigger, but this thing looks brand new and never used at all. I do not know if they reproduce garand triggers,so I thought I would ask everybody here and get their opinion. I told the seller that I had a very nice HRA m1 with most of its original finish still intact and the seller told me that he would send his darkest one with the best finish. Does this look like an original HRA trigger? And does this look like it has its original finish or is this just Chinese reproduction? thanks in advance.

"...Chinese reproduction..." Don't believe there is such a thing. There are lots of U.S. companies that make M1 Rifle parts. However, I suspect you got exactly what he said you'd get. "his darkest one with the best finish."
And HRA triggers look just like any other M1 Rifle trigger.

Its refinished as the pin on original finish is not parkerized but shiny. HRS triggers are not the same as other manufactures. I believe it to be a SA post war trigger as HRA triggers have thin profile

I thought the HRA garand triggers are supposed to have a thinner profile than the other makers? This one looked thinner than the other makers to me

Sunray, it is my understanding that the Chinese reproduce everything, right down to Winter triggers. Even bill rica told me this on a personal phone call with him years back. The seller had five of them total in various different finish conditions, all listed as used HRA triggers. The listing on feeBay is still active. Thanks Orlando,I see what you mean now about the pin should be in the white and shiny on original finish triggers. The seller I bought from on the third picture showed all five triggers that he had for sale and one of them is in fact in the white on the pin just like you stated. In fact, it looks like he just has one trigger out of the 5 that has original finish because the other four pins on the other four triggers look to have the same finish as the trigger itself. Per your description, the only original looking one he has is on picture number three on his listing and it is the trigger that is in the middle with a little bit of rust at the bottom of the trigger face. That is the one I should have asked for I guess, his listing offers returns within 30 days so I will be returning the one I received. Thank you and everyone else for their help

Yes, this I what I said. HRA should have thinner profile which your trigger does not appear to be.

Thanks Orlando. Did you happen to look at the listing from the item number I listed in a couple posts above? If so,does the middle one in picture number three with a little bit of rust at the bottom of the trigger face look like a HRA to you? It is kind of laying at a weird angle, but hopefully you guys can see enough of it to identify it as an HRA or not. I'm wanting to keep a spare trigger/sear assembly for my all parts correct 1955 HRA.thanks again

Thats a ridiculous price to pay for a trigger!! Its hard to tell from the picture but it might be HRA
