Remington Pattern 14 canted front sight

I have privi 174 grain ammo for it. I’m sorry I don’t have time to shoot whenever- I’m doing my MA degree and I also teach/work and the nearest place for me to shoot is an hour away. I will shoot it this Sunday hopefully. I will get pictures up of the target as well. As far as the witness marks go- I am obviously no expert so it could be two of them, just up close in person it didn’t look like it. I will approximate how the sight would align if clocked to the other mark. Just seems strange that the barrel would be turned to the other Mark with the sight obviously canted, then have drift the sight blade over to compensate for the cant and stake it in place. Could be a crown issue as previously mentioned. Obviously some of these questions I will never have answers for. Such is history.

Perfect... Don't do ANYTHING unusual. Just align the sights and squeeze...let's see where they fall together. If you do something we'll never know. Act like it's zeroed. Go with that.
