I just received my Unissued Never Used Camillus M4 Bayonet with a Unissued or Used U.S. icon

M8A1 V.P. CO Scabbard and it also includes his 135pg Autobiography Book which is a Really Great Read. If there are any M4 Bayonet Collectors what is the Best to way to store it inside the Scabbard without scratching it. If I wrapped it up in Teflon would that help this Bayo especially living in a Very High Humidity Climate area and metal can rust pretty quick down here. Here is the link where you can read all about him. I couldn't believe the price on this set so I had called John and ask him since I've boughten a few items from him and was happy with all of them. You can't go wrong at all. I bet you will see the price climb much higher than what it's selling for right now.

Nice looking bayonet. If it was mine, I think I'd just store them separate and wrap them up nicely or better, build a nice display case and hang them on the wall where no direct sunlight can hit them.

Thanks Steve..I was also thinking about doing that as way to display the Blade but I was kinda hesitant about rust.
I do have a small display already but I would like to incorporate the Signed Autobiography Book that came with it and just make another one with another M1 icon

Carbine and just purchase the same Book on Amazon to keep this one New Looking and if anyone of my friends would like to read it they will read the one I purchased separately so this one will stay New, but that's if I go this way. I've seen some really cool displays.

I agree Frank, the consensus seems to be don't ever put the blade in the scabbard or you get marks. If you just keep them where you can give them a wipe regularly like your rifles they shouldn't rust.

Wear "surgeon's gloves" when you handle it because of the sweat/contaminants in your skin which may cause it to corrode. Some people are worse than others for having this effect on steel when they touch it with bare hands.

Yes Sir that is Great Advice and when I called him to order it even though I knew it's bad to do that and believe it or not it doesn't take much time to see where it's been touched with bare hands he did mention to me when I open it to do the same thing.

I just went through this post I started and I mentioned that here is the Website to it, but I just noticed the Site did not attach to my opening post. I did just read on Wikipedia that he was mentioned several times in the book Charlie Wilson's War by George Crile in 2007, but I thought it was another Agent that helped him.
