The last issue of the GCA
Journal Vol 33, Issue 3, Summer 2019, has an article "War Hero's Rifle Bought by Local Shop". Robert and Brad Simpson of Collectors Firearms
purchased the Model 1941 Johnson Rifle that belonged to Major Robert Dunlap USMC (MOH) who was wounded on Iwo Jima on Feb 26th, 1945. The Johnson(sn A0009)
was returned to Major Dunlap by his comrades and he kept it on his wall until he died in 2000 at the age of 79.
