    Yep, never seen a genuine 4T dated 1942 other than a Savage.......

    Has somebody out there got a 42 dated BSA or Maltby, or even a Faz?? I don't know enough about LB 4T's to know if they exist dated prior to 43 - that's the earliest I've ever heard of.....

    Mine are not the best, but they are not too bad. I can think of lots of Enfields I'd rather have but instead of constantly striving for more, sometimes it's good to be satisfied with what one has...

    Allen I notice that the draw on your Scout scope is still blued. Is that a minty scope with the original blue? I have one a minty one still having the original bluing also. The bluing on most draws are generally worn off from use. Ray
