The 30 rd mag works well with the regular mag catch but it had better be a fresh low mile carbine and a great magazine, a genuine AI or SEY. I don't like the 30s because they turn a beautiful handy weapon into an off balance club. If you can't kill it in 15 shots you probably aren't going to kill it.

Agreed, and they don't always work. Unlike a 15 that almost always works, no matter how scrubby.
