No...didn't think of it. I'm in Canada and don't know how easy that would be. I don't have his SS number anyway...don't know if I could find it. I almost had his marksman's shooting medal but I guess it went to my uncle, his nephew when he died. He's been gone some years now too... It was strange how removed he was from it. Just a basic engagement, but like it didn't mean anything to him at all. Just a few stories and a small book of mostly picture postcards and some pics...

Anyway, I expect he had a nice early one like this, 1919-1921 or was it 1923? A basic engagement would have been three years?
