1941 Beretta Gardone 91/38 cavalry carbine
I picked this little Beretta up this past weekend. It is really one of the nicer ones I've seen in a while (only problem is that the bolt is stripped, just a body)
However, it looks like it retains the original sling, and a nice surprise was finding two cleaning rod heads in the butt trap. Stock is matching, and shows a really nice cartouche.
It was dirt cheap, as most folks seem to continue to have the attitude that these are garbage...but I've always enjoyed them. I'll search for the needed bolt parts this week, and get her onto the range!
