I saw no mention of Swedish rifles. I've never owned a 91/30 that was worth talking about. I bought junk stuff and I know it. For a M-38, get the Polish.

This is an easy one honestly [& I'm not being sarcastic either] since it's your last milsurp, change your wording. Buy both & make it your final milsurp purchase.

I’d look for a Mosin 1891. The old Imperial one. Longer, rough and less available.

So I ended up going with a near cherry M39... However, then I bought a repro PU sniper. And then a Swedish M96.
I may have a problem.

It's amazing how that happens, isn't it? I keep saying "I've bought my last Enfield for awhile" then another one turns up...rinse, wash, repeat!

Don't get me wrong I love my m39 but it's not in the same class as a K31. Do you want a 73' Vega GT or a 68' Z-28 ? because that's what you are asking.

That's the truth! I don't even say I'm not buying another milsurp anymore, even my wife doesn't believe me when I say it, I'm the boy who cried wolf...
